Some seasons ask for a room of your own. A private yoga session is exactly that, a practice shaped entirely around you, your body, and whatever you happen to be carrying right now.
I'm Jessica, a Yoga Alliance–registered teacher (RYT-200), and one-on-one work is some of my favorite work. Without a full class to keep pace with, we get to slow down and pay attention. There's no perfect pose to reach for here. There's just you, your breath, and a practice that meets you exactly where you are, the way movement first met me when I needed it most.
What a private session looks like
We begin with a conversation, where you are physically, what your history holds, and what you're hoping to feel by the end. From there I build a session just for you. It might be a grounding flow, long restorative shapes, breathwork to settle your nervous system, a little meditation, or a blend of all of it. Sessions usually run about 60 or 90 minutes, and we move at a pace that feels honest rather than rushed, so you leave with something you can actually carry off the mat.
Who private yoga is for
This is a beautiful place to begin if you're brand new and want to feel steady before stepping into a group class. It's just as meaningful if you're an experienced practitioner refining your practice, someone moving through injury or recovery, or anyone navigating stress, grief, or a big life shift who needs a softer, more personal way back into their body. Movement really can be medicine, and one-on-one we get to offer it gently, together.
Where we practice
I teach across Southwest Florida rather than from one fixed studio, so we simply choose the setting that fits, a space you feel comfortable in, outdoors in nature, or wherever feels right for you. Sessions are offered by arrangement throughout the area:
- Fort Myers
- North Fort Myers
- Cape Coral
- Fort Myers Beach
- Estero
- Bonita Springs
- Naples
How to book
Private sessions are arranged one at a time, around your schedule and mine. Tell me a little about yourself, your experience, any injuries, and what you're hoping for, through the private session form on my homepage, or email me directly at [email protected]. I read every message myself and I'll be in touch to find a time. I can't wait to practice with you.
